The global demand for skilled workers has increased dramatically and the supply of competent manpower is becoming scarce. Although the Philippines is still the largest exporter of manpower, it is evident that, soon, the human resource in the Philippines will not be able to keep up with the demand.

At East West Placement Center, we’re developing solutions to target specific requirements of clients. To meet the dwindling supply of skilled manpower, East West is setting up a training center in Manila, which is almost complete, and has established East West Human Resource Center Ltd., a branch office in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for outsourced trained manpower.

Having arranged access to The Welding Centre (BOC subsidiary) and Mirpur Agricultural Workshop and Training School (MAWTS) in Bangladesh, we can provide hundreds of skilled workers by developing them.

In addition, we are building our own training center also in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a floor area of 1000 sq.m., which will offer training on civil construction trades. While in Makati, a three-storey training center, with a total of 972 sq.m. floor area and accommodations for 200 trainees, is nearly finished, which will develop candidates for mechanical and E & I trades.

We’re currently conducting training on the roof deck of the Makati head office in three shifts. With the existing 15 welding machines we are able to produce 120 welders a month.

We maintain a steady pool of trained manpower from which you can readily select from. Or, you may opt to send your existing workers to our training centers for upgrading to optimize your workforce.
