| East West Pioneers in E-Submission | |
The E-Submission initiative aims to cut down the time and cost involved with manually submitting the RFPs. Company liaison will not have to bring the documents to POEA for processing. All processing will be done through the E-Submission system. However, liaisons will still have to pay the processing fee at the POEA cashier. The system will return back an RFP number after submitting the RFP online, which will be given to the POEA cashier upon making the payment. They will be given an e-receipt as proof of payment, which will also serve as the exit clearance to replace the OEC. The E-Submission is part of an initiative to link various government agencies to reduce the time required by overseas employment applicants and OFWs to process their application and required documents. The system is currently in the pilot testing stage. The POEA has selected East West Placement Center, Inc. to be one of six recruitment agencies chosen by the POEA to participate in the test phase.
